Kirrah has been an active performer for almost 10 years, performing on national and international stages. Born in Canberra, Kirrah has starred in lead roles for a variety of musical productions including the Narrator in Papermoon’s production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Gabriella in Bertri Barren’s High School Musical, a Dynamite in Canberra Philharmonic’s premiere of Hairspray and Urleen in SUPA’s Footloose. Most recently, she has frequented Free Rain Theatre’s productions which include Forbidden Broadway, Pilar in Legally Blonde-The Musical, a soloist in Cabaret, and Elphaba (alternate) in the ACT production of Wicked which earned her a Canberra Area Theatre (CAT) Award for ‘Best Leading Actress in a Musical’. This year, Kirrah was cast as Eponine in Free-Rain’s production of Les Miserables before joining the cast of The Bodyguard.
Graduated with a Bachelor of Music at the Australian National University School of Music, Kirrah is a member of various ensembles which include Tuchasoul, Se(p)t, Kaleid and ERAH. Each one a success in their own right and are currently performing/ writing and recording around the Canberra and NSW region. ERAH’s debut single ‘Ordinary Boy’ was in the Triple J Unearthed Charts for 6 weeks, peaked at #44 in the overall nationwide chart and #4 on the electronic chart. In 2016 Kirrah joined the cast of ‘The Diamonds’ with SMA Entertainment by Design, and was recently announced a Top 30 Semi-Finalist in the 2016 Rob Guest Endowment Award.
This is Kirrah’s first professional commercial contract and is honoured to be part of the cast bringing Whitney’s timeless classics to life on Australian stages.
